Postseason Play Kicks Off Across Mercer County
The Mercer County American Legion Baseball League will see seven teams enter the postseason this week, each vying for a spot in the New Jersey American Legion Final Four.
Allentown, the league champion, opens its campaign in the District 3 Tournament, while the other six squads are slated for competition in District 2, Whitehouse Station and Brooklawn.
Hamilton Post 31 and the North Hamilton Hibernians will square off in the District 2 Tournament, while Lawrence Post 414 and Hightstown Post 148 meet in Whitehouse Station. Broad Street Park Post 313 and Bordentown Post 26 will clash in Brooklawn.
The winners from each tournament will advance to the New Jersey American Legion Final Four, where the state champion will earn a berth to the Mid‑Atlantic Tournament in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.
Local fans can expect tightly contested games as teams battle for regional pride and a chance to extend their season. The schedule kicks off Monday, with matches spread across the three venues.
