Adryan Cole, a four-star safety prospect from Douglasville, Georgia, announced his commitment to the University of Georgia on Tuesday, choosing the Bulldogs over a slate of offers that included Florida, LSU, Ole Miss and more than four dozen other programs.

Cole's pledge lifts Georgia's 2027 recruiting class to 19 commitments and propels the Bulldogs to No. 11 in the 247Sports Team Class Rankings, underscoring the program's continued dominance in the Southeast.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound defender is ranked as the No. 27 safety and No. 26 overall recruit in Georgia, and sits at No. 166 nationally in the 247Sports Composite. He is also listed as the No. 15 overall prospect in the state, a testament to his elite status among in-state peers.
Cole said the relationships he has built with Georgia's coaching staff, the developmental pathway for defensive backs, and the overall culture of the program were decisive factors in his decision, highlighting the university's appeal both on and off the field.
His commitment marks the first defensive back pledge for the Bulldogs in the 2027 cycle and adds depth to a secondary that has been a focal point of the program's recent successes.
