Ethan Davis, a 6‑foot‑5, 247‑pound redshirt junior, brings the most extensive game experience among the group, having logged 36 catches for 390 yards and four touchdowns last year.
DaSaahn Brame, a 6‑foot‑5 sophomore at 240 pounds, emerged as a freshman with six receptions for 63 yards, and coaches expect a larger role as he adds strength and route precision.
Cole Harrison, a redshirt sophomore at 6‑foot‑5 and 239 pounds, appeared in five games a year ago and recorded a single 17‑yard reception, but his blocking ability and versatility are viewed as key assets.
The room also welcomes transfers Trent Thomas and Drake Martinez. Thomas arrives from South Alabama, where he started 13 of 26 career games, while Martinez brings a journey through Houston Christian, McNeese State and Colorado State to the Volunteer roster.
Adding an international flair, freshman Luca Wolf from Vienna, Austria, arrived early, enrolled at the university and took part in spring practices, standing out at 6‑foot‑5 and 255 pounds.
