The NASCAR Cup Series is set to make its long‑awaited comeback at North Wilkesboro Speedway with the Window World 450 on July 19, marking the first points‑paying event at the historic venue since September 1996.
A fresh chapter for a storied track
North Wilkesboro, a four‑turn, 0.625‑mile oval that opened in 1947, was repaved earlier this year, giving the track a fresh surface that still retains its classic, low‑profile character.
The race will run 450 laps divided into three stages — ending on laps 80, 265 and the final lap — providing a true endurance test on the newly resurfaced surface.
Early betting lines favor Denny Hamlin, while Ryan Blaney, Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson are also among the top contenders, alongside rising stars Ty Gibbs, Ross Chastain and a host of other series regulars.
The event will be televised on TNT Sports at 7 p.m. ET, with coverage also streaming on the network’s digital platforms, and fans can engage with promotional partners such as PrizePicks.
