The Greater Middlesex Conference Baseball Coaches Association has unveiled its 2026 All-Academic Team, a roster that celebrates senior athletes who have paired on-field excellence with strong scholarship.
The honor roll spans a dozen schools across the conference, including Carteret, Colonia, Dunellen, East Brunswick and several others, reflecting the breadth of talent throughout the region.
Coaches emphasized that the selection process went beyond statistics, weighing grade point averages, community service and leadership as essential components of the award.

Among the honorees are Gatik Bhardwaj, Dylan Chiera, Michael Dow, Jaidon Coello and a host of peers such as Stephan Zappola, Robert Roma, Melissa Evans and Grant Lorentzen, each representing the diverse talent pool of the conference.
The list also features names like Shloak Patel, Sean Dereka, Dalton Michael, Tyler Bacon, Jairo Marte Reyes, Mark Fultz, Harold Denney III, Yerandy Guzman, Kevin Kovach, Aiden Cruz, Joseph Foreman, Peyton Lynch, Aidan Kaplan, Brendan Lell, Michael Palumbo, Kris Almanzar, Harrison Eng and Gavin Slicner, underscoring the depth of academic achievement across the sport.
