Salamanca High School to Host Annual Soccer Showcase
This Sunday, Salamanca High School will welcome the community for the 2026 NY/PA Corporate Cup Soccer Showcase, a day-long celebration of youth soccer that draws teams from across the region. The event, held on the school's fields, combines competitive play with a festive atmosphere, offering free admission and a lineup of activities designed to engage families and fans alike.
Four Matches, Free Entry and Festive Extras
The schedule features four contests: the Boys Silver division kicks off at noon, followed by the Girls Silver match at 2:30 p.m., the Boys Gold game at 5 p.m., and the Girls Gold finale at 7:30 p.m. Each contest will begin with a pregame ceremony thirty minutes prior, adding a ceremonial touch to the competition. Attendees can enjoy a raffle, sample fare from five food trucks, and the excitement of live high‑school soccer without any cost at the gate.
Adding a personal touch to the event, Gianna Bowles and Cooper Freeman have been named captains of the New York Gold teams. Their leadership on the field reflects the spirit of the showcase, which aims to highlight local talent while fostering community pride.
