Titans reshape staff ahead of new season
The Tennessee Titans have unveiled the complete slate of personnel who will shape the franchise’s football operations for the upcoming season, confirming a single new addition and a wave of 17 promotions across scouting, communications, team operations and player personnel.
Among the newcomers, Shepley Heard steps into the role of area scout, bringing more than two decades of front‑office experience accumulated with the Atlanta Falcons, where he held a series of progressive positions that culminated in a senior scouting capacity.
The promotion list reads like a who’s who of the organization’s inner circle, featuring a Performance Dietitian, an Associate Athletic Trainer, a Director of College Scouting and several other senior coordinators, each now tasked with expanding the team’s competitive edge on and off the field.
While the Titans have not released a detailed hierarchy beyond the titles, insiders say the moves are designed to reinforce a more integrated approach between player development, health and analytics, a shift that could influence how the club evaluates talent and manages injury prevention.
The restructuring comes on the heels of the sudden exit of Team President Chad Brinker, who left the organization shortly after the recent draft, leaving a vacuum that the front office appears eager to fill with fresh leadership and new perspectives.
