The New England Revolution announced Tuesday that they have secured English winger Jack Harrison as a Designated Player, locking him in through the 2029‑30 MLS season.
A Player With Proven Premier‑League Pedigree
Harrison arrives after a decade spent navigating the rigors of England’s top flights, Italy’s Serie A and the United States, having amassed 54 goals and 50 assists across more than 375 club appearances.
His most prominent spell came at Leeds United, where he contributed 66 goal involvements in 219 matches and helped the club capture the 2019‑20 Championship title, earning promotion to the Premier League.
After stints on loan at Everton and a recent season with Fiorentina, where he recorded a goal and three assists in 22 Serie A matches, Harrison is eager to translate that experience into MLS success.
Leadership Expectations
General Manager Chris Tierney emphasized that Harrison’s creativity and game intelligence are expected to inject immediate vigor into the Revolution’s attack, positioning the team as a contender for the league title.
The 29‑year‑old winger, who first entered MLS as the first overall pick in the 2016 SuperDraft by New York City FC, will look to build on that foundation as he returns to the league with a championship mindset.
