Team Penske is gearing up to commemorate its 60th anniversary in 2026, a milestone that reflects more than six decades of relentless competition and innovation in motorsport.
A Legacy of Wins and Championships
The organization boasts an astonishing record: more than 660 major race victories, over 700 pole positions and 48 national championships spread across a spectrum of series. Its résumé includes 20 triumphs at the Indianapolis 500, three Daytona 500 championships, and historic overall wins at the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and Australia’s Bathurst 1000, underscoring a versatility that few rivals can match.
Today, Penske’s racing program spans the NASCAR Cup Series, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and, through a partnership with Porsche, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, where the Porsche Penske Motorsport entry is slated to contend in 2026.
The Road Ahead
Marking the anniversary will involve a series of retrospectives, fan‑focused events and special liveries that pay tribute to the team’s storied past while highlighting the next generation of talent and technology. Executives say the celebrations will also serve as a launchpad for future initiatives, including expanded driver development programs and deeper collaborations with manufacturers.
