Alice Roeper, a standout field hockey player who concluded her collegiate career at James Madison University, has officially signed a professional contract with Haagsche Delftsche Mixed (HDM) Dames 1 in the Netherlands, marking her move from American college competition to one of Europe’s top leagues.
The Dutch club announced the agreement this week, highlighting the transition of the American-born midfielder to the elite Dutch division. Roeper expressed palpable excitement about the move, stating that she is eager to take the next step in her career and to contribute to a team with a rich tradition.
