The Making of a Potential Starter
Brandt arrived in Ann Arbor as a three‑star recruit, immediately earning a place on the special‑teams unit and appearing in 14 games during his true freshman season. Though his early snaps were limited, the experience laid a foundation for his subsequent rise.
In 2024, Brandt transitioned into a rotational role on the defensive line, quickly becoming a leader on special teams. His performance peaked in the ReliaQuest Bowl against Alabama, where he recovered a fumble and recorded a sack, moments that highlighted his playmaking ability.
