Chase Elliott will step into the No. 07 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet for the FaithFest 250 at North Wilkesboro this weekend, marking his first Truck Series start since the 2023 Daytona opener.

The race was slated as one of four Truck Series dates on Kyle Busch’s 2026 schedule, and Busch had already logged four of his eight planned starts before his death in May, making Elliott’s appearance a poignant tribute.
Elliott, an eight‑time consecutive NASCAR Most Popular Driver Award winner, has been a leading voice pushing for Busch to be honored posthumously, a cause that deepens the emotional resonance of the event.
Since Busch’s passing, the No. 07 Chevrolet has been driven by Corey Day and Rajah Caruth, but Elliott’s entry brings the car back to a driver who shares a personal connection to the late star.
The FaithFest 250 is set for Saturday, July 18, at 12:30 p.m. ET, and will take place at North Wilkesboro Speedway, a track that played a formative role in Busch’s early career.
