Under the guidance of coach P.J. Sprunk, Haynes Academy transitioned to a pro‑style offense that demanded more than raw speed; it required vision, patience and a willingness to absorb contact.
In his senior season, Cribby answered that call, piling up 2,004 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns while also catching 24 passes for 209 yards and four scores, earning District 10‑3 Offensive Most Valuable Player honors.
His performance earned him a spot on the Times‑Picayune’s All‑Metro team and a place on the Louisiana Sports Writers Association’s watch list, underscoring the impact of a player who has become a linchpin for the team’s identity.
Off the field, Cribby balances a 4.6 GPA with a 31 ACT score, has secured a scholarship offer from Millsaps College, and remains rooted in the discipline he honed as a youth hockey player in Naples, Maine.
