The Craftsman Truck Series Chase is only four races away, bringing together ten drivers who will battle across seven events for the 2024 championship.
Points Battle Intensifies
Layne Riggs currently sits at the top of the standings with a 41‑point advantage over Kaden Honeycutt, who narrowed the gap dramatically at Lime Rock. Riggs boasts four victories this season, the most of any competitor, while Honeycutt leads in top‑five finishes, top‑10s and average finish.
Behind them, Chandler Smith, Christian Eckes and Gio Ruggiero remain in the mix, with Smith the only one of the trio to have secured a win so far.
Ty Majeski, the defending 2024 champion, occupies sixth place in the points table, but his results have fluctuated between top‑12 finishes and finishes of 23rd or worse.
Grant Enfinger earned his first victory in nearly two seasons at Lime Rock Park, a result that propelled him into the top ten of the points standings.
Tyler Ankrum, the tenth and final driver above the cutline, is the only one of that group with a single top‑five finish to his credit this year.
Stewart Friesen and Jake Garcia sit just 17 points behind Ankrum, making them the closest challengers to the cutline.
Brenden Queen, leading the Kaulig Racing brigade, sits 21 points below the cutline but has demonstrated strong performances on road courses.
Andrés Pérez, currently 14th in the standings, still has an opportunity to break out in the remaining races.
