The board conducted interviews with three candidates — Zachary McGovern, Corey Dalton and Richard Mullen — before voting, with Dalton securing a 4‑1 decision and Mullen being chosen unanimously.
In a separate move, the board approved a licensing agreement with the Boston Bruins Foundation that will see a new street‑hockey rink constructed at Arnold Park, expanding recreational options for residents.
Water Quality and Community Projects
Officials also highlighted progress at the town’s PFAS water‑treatment facility, noting that the plant is now fully operational and playing a key role in safeguarding local water quality.
