The Michigan Tech men's basketball program has once again been recognized for its scholarly achievements, earning the National Association of Basketball Coaches Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2025‑26 season.
This marks the fifth occasion in the past six seasons that the Huskies have received the honor, underscoring a sustained commitment to academic performance alongside athletic competition.
The award is granted to programs whose team grade point average meets or exceeds a 3.0 threshold, a benchmark that the Michigan Tech squad has consistently surpassed.
Honors Court Highlights
In addition, nine individual Huskies were selected to the NABC Honors Court, a distinction reserved for junior, senior and graduate student‑athletes who maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
