His coaching pedigree includes stints under Ray Reyes and Joseph Marquez, during which he helped the Warriors climb from a 3‑7 record to an 8‑5 season in 2003‑04 and capture the North Yosemite League title, only to fall in the Division III championship game.
Daniel returned to the school in 2014 and, together with his staff, engineered two consecutive winning campaigns, briefly rekindling optimism among players and alumni.
Since then the team has slipped, posting winless seasons in the past two years and failing to register a victory since October 13, 2023, when they edged Sanger West in a low‑scoring affair.
