Christian Pulisic, the 25‑year‑old attacking midfielder who grew up in Hershey, Pennsylvania, has been a mainstay for AC Milan since joining the club in 2023. In 33 appearances for the United States national team he has scored 33 goals, and last season he contributed ten strikes in just fifteen club matches before a career‑low stretch of 19 games without a goal ended in December.
The speculation resurfaced when New York City FC’s president, Brad Sims, said the club believes Pulisic would love a move to Major League Soccer and that the team would rank high on his list of suitors. Sims framed the potential transfer as a natural next step for a player who has already proven his ability in Europe.
AC Milan, however, has been unequivocal in its stance: the club has no intention of selling the American star. Club officials cite his importance to the squad and the recent setback of a fractured right leg that kept him out of the recent round‑of‑16 defeat to Belgium, a match in which he failed to find the net.
Pulisic’s recent form has been a mixed bag. After a strong start that saw him net ten goals in his first fifteen Serie A appearances, he endured a prolonged drought that underscored the physical toll of his injury.
