A Proven Recruiter Returns to the Pacific Northwest
The University of Oregon baseball program has added a familiar face to its coaching staff, appointing Ryan Fineman as its new recruiting coordinator and assistant coach.
Fineman arrives after a stint at Troy University, where he served in the same capacity and guided the Trojans to the 2026 College World Series, a run that underscored his ability to attract top talent.
His recruiting résumé also includes tenures at Alabama, New Orleans, and Chipola Junior College, where he honed a track record of turning raw prospects into competitive contributors.
Wasikowski's Consistent Success
Head coach Mark Wasikowski, who has led Oregon to at least 36 wins in each season since 2020, sees Fineman’s arrival as a natural extension of the program’s upward trajectory.
Under Wasikowski’s guidance, the Ducks have captured three NCAA Super Regionals in the past four years and finished second in the Big Ten tournament last season, positioning the team to chase its first College World Series appearance since 1954.
