At the recent ACC Football Kickoff, Swinney spoke candidly about the disappointment of a seven‑win campaign, emphasizing that the team will concentrate on tangible improvement rather than deflecting criticism.

Swinney pointed to the program’s recent pedigree, noting that Clemson has posted 15 straight winning seasons and captured three ACC titles since 2020, a streak that places the Tigers among an elite group of only four programs nationwide to achieve such consistency.
