The 2026 Ohio Valley Conference preseason poll has already begun to shape expectations for the upcoming season, with Southeast Missouri State University landing in second place.
The poll awarded the Redhawks 38 points, including a single first‑place vote, while the overall favorite, UT Martin, collected 47 points and six first‑place votes.
The eight‑team league also features Lindenwood, Gardner‑Webb, Charleston Southern, Western Illinois, Eastern Illinois and Tennessee State, rounding out a competitive field.
Adding to the buzz, seven Redhawks athletes have been named to the conference’s Players to Watch list, highlighting the depth of talent returning to the roster.
