All proceeds from the invitational will be directed to The Samantha and Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund, a charitable initiative that assists families navigating the financial challenges of In Vitro Fertilization. Samantha Busch has emphasized how the fund’s mission aligns with Kyle’s long‑standing affection for the sport’s lower‑division roots, making the race weekend a natural extension of his legacy.
The program will showcase up to 51 Legend cars and 18 Bandalero entries, providing a platform for emerging talent. Among the participants, Kyle Busch’s 11‑year‑old son Brexton Busch is being considered for a race seat, a prospect that adds a personal touch to the tribute. Drivers who finish in the Top Five of the 2026 Summer Shootout point standings will earn an automatic invitation, underscoring the event’s role in the broader NASCAR development pathway.
The schedule is set for a 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. window of qualifying and practice, with the main racing action kicking off at 5 p.m. The weekend will also feature a public funeral for Kyle Busch on October 9 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina, where fans and fellow competitors will gather to celebrate his contributions to the sport.
