Ryan Lennon, 24, arrives from the Kingston Frontenacs where he served as Director of Hockey Operations, a role that followed stints with Hockey Canada’s video staff, including a position on the coaching staff for Team Canada Red at the 2026 World U17 Challenge and the 2026 Winter Olympics.
In his new capacity, Lennon will serve as Video Coach, overseeing the team’s analytical and scouting footage, a responsibility he honed while supporting Canada’s national programs.
Morgan Payne joins the Penguins as Assistant Equipment Manager after five seasons as Head Equipment Manager for the Barrie Colts, a tenure highlighted by the club’s Eastern Conference championship in 2025‑26.
Payne’s background at Humber College, where he completed his studies, equipped him with the technical expertise to manage equipment logistics for a professional roster, ensuring that the Penguins’ players have the gear they need night after night.
