Edwin Suarez Jr. has officially committed to Temple University, bringing a seasoned wing presence to the program and reinforcing the team's ambitions for the upcoming season.
The 6‑foot‑7 forward spent one year at Weber State before completing two seasons at Arizona Western College, where he posted averages of 13.4 points and 8.7 rebounds in his final junior‑college campaign.
A Look at Suarez’s College Journey
After transferring back to Weber State for the 2025‑26 season, Suarez posted 9.2 points per game and topped the team in triple‑doubles, showcasing his all‑around contributions on the court.
His arrival adds depth to a roster that now stands at 11 scholarship players, giving the Owls additional flexibility on the perimeter and inside.
Prior to his stint at Weber State, Suarez honed his game at Arizona Western, where his rebounding prowess and scoring efficiency made him a standout performer in the conference.
The move also places him alongside teammates such as Cam Scott and Baboucarr Njie, who are already part of the Owls’ backcourt and frontcourt mix.
Coaches expect the new wing to complement existing talent and provide a boost as the team looks to contend in the upcoming season, while the addition of Suarez aligns with broader recruitment goals focused on strengthening the wing position.
