Outfielders’ reactions are quantified through a metric called Jump, which identifies those with the quickest response times and most direct routes. On the basepaths, a Bolt denotes any sprint where a runner’s speed reaches at least 30 ft per second, a threshold that separates ordinary advances from game‑changing bursts.
