New Faces on the Broncos' 2026 Squad
Western Michigan University’s men’s soccer program is set to welcome two fresh talents as the 2026 season approaches, with forward Joseph Min and defender Dan McHale signing on to the Broncos roster.
Min arrives after a standout collegiate campaign that included two goals and three assists for Seton Hall, where he helped the team reach the NJCAA DIII National Championship game in 2023. His experience at Dallas College Richland, where he contributed to back‑to‑back championship finals, adds a championship pedigree that coaches hope will translate into immediate impact on the attacking end.
McHale, a native of Ireland, brings size and defensive acumen after stints with the University of Kentucky and St. Patrick's Athletic FC. He earned three caps with the Republic of Ireland U17 side in 2022, showcasing his ability to compete at an international level before joining the Broncos.
The new signings will make their first public appearance in the annual Brown vs. Gold exhibition match scheduled for August 5, 2026, giving fans a preview of how the duo might fit into the upcoming campaign.
With the additions of Min and McHale, the Broncos are positioning themselves to chase another conference title and secure a berth in the NCAA Tournament. The coaching staff believes the blend of offensive firepower and defensive stability could prove decisive as the schedule unfolds.
