The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced its 2026 All-MAAC First Team, and the Griffs celebrated three of their own earning the prestigious nod.

Thomas Zwirecki paced the offense with a .371 batting average, driving in 46 runs and reaching base at a .487 clip, while also contributing 86 total bases.

Bennett Cox added a spark at the top of the lineup, collecting 60 hits, scoring 41 runs and stealing 18 of 19 attempts, underscoring his reliability on the bases.

On the mound, Felix Morin closed the regular season with a career‑low 2.77 ERA, tossing 81.1 innings and striking out 67 batters, marking his most dominant pitching performance to date.

Academic Excellence Among the Griffs

The MAAC also revealed its All‑Academic Team, naming 19 Canisius student‑athletes to the list; the Griffs were second only to Fairfield, which placed 20 athletes on the squad.
