The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) has released the full conference schedule for the 2026‑27 women's basketball season, outlining an 18‑game slate that will unfold over ten weeks of competition.
Most matchups are slated for Friday and Sunday evenings, providing a regular rhythm for teams and fans alike. The final week of the regular season will shift to Thursday and Saturday, creating a compact finish to the campaign.
All games will be streamed on FloCollege, with a selection also airing on local linear television affiliates, expanding the league's visibility beyond digital platforms.
Stony Brook's Seawolves are set to play nine home games and nine road contests against conference rivals. The team opens league play at home against Towson on New Year's Day, January 1, 2027, and will follow with a home clash versus Hofstra on January 3.
Early Road Trips
In the opening stretch, the Seawolves will travel to face North Carolina A&T, Elon and Drexel, testing their mettle against a variety of opponents before returning to the familiar confines of the Island Federal Arena.
The home conference schedule includes contests against Campbell, Northeastern, Drexel, Hampton, Charleston, Monmouth and William & Mary, offering a blend of familiar rivalries and new challenges within the league.
The second half of the season features road trips to Monmouth, Charleston, UNCW, Towson, Northeastern and Hofstra, rounding out a demanding but rewarding schedule that will keep the team constantly on the move.
Championship Destination
All 13 CAA teams will converge in Washington, D.C., for the 2027 CAA Women's Basketball Championship, scheduled to run from March 10 through March 14 at the CareFirst Arena. The tournament will serve as the culmination of the regular season and a final opportunity for teams to stake their claim on conference supremacy.
