Inclusive Beach Soccer Clinic Lights Up Batumi
A vibrant beach soccer clinic unfolded on Batumi’s sun‑kissed shore as part of the Euro Beach Soccer League Division B Georgia 2026, offering a unique platform for children and young people with autism spectrum disorder.
The gathering was backed by Beach Soccer Worldwide, The Beach Soccer Foundation and the Georgia Football Federation, whose shared vision is to use the sport as a vehicle for respect, participation and equal opportunity.
Beka Shakaradze, coach at the Batumi Sports Centre, helped coordinate the session, ensuring that each activity was adapted to the needs of the participants.
Youngsters from Georgia joined peers from England, Slovakia, Norway and Latvia, swapping smiles and strategies while learning new skills through games tailored to their abilities.
Organisers highlighted how the clinic goes beyond competition, aiming to grow the sport’s community footprint and demonstrate its positive impact on individuals and the wider society.
The event also showcased the collaborative effort of the Batumi Football Center, local volunteers and staff, who turned the beach into a welcoming arena for learning and confidence‑building.
