Summer of Soccer Kicks Off Across Chattanooga
The Chattanooga Football Club is set to transform the city’s summer schedule with its "Summer of Soccer" series, a collection of matches, community activities, and themed celebrations scheduled throughout June and July.
The festivities begin on June 6 when the club hosts Red Bull New York II at Finley Stadium, marking the first of several high‑profile fixtures that will showcase both local talent and visiting teams.
A highlight of the opening weekend is Margaritaville Night, which pairs a themed match with vacation giveaways and a 5K Fun Run organized in partnership with the Chattanooga Track Club, inviting participants to run, celebrate, and support the club’s outreach efforts.
Celebrating Women in Sport
On June 12 the club will observe Girls and Women in Sports Night, featuring a dedicated match and a campaign aimed at breaking the WPSL attendance record, underscoring the club’s commitment to gender equity in athletics.
The following day, June 13, fans can explore the club’s new headquarters during a Sidewalk Sale and Fan Fun Day, where merchandise, interactive displays, and family‑friendly activities will be offered in a festive atmosphere.
Community Partnerships and Family Fun
The Chattanooga Zoo will join the June 27 match with a pre‑match coin‑clip experience and a pop‑up zoo, giving spectators a chance to engage with wildlife while enjoying the game. Following the match, a Dance Party on the Pitch with a Yacht Rock theme will keep the energy high, and the evening will culminate in a post‑match fireworks display at Erlanger Park on July 4.
A second Dance Party on the Pitch, this time themed Fiesta and Salsa, is slated for July 18, promising another night of music, dancing, and community togetherness.
July 25 will see the club host Ride Your Bike Night, encouraging supporters to arrive by bicycle; the event will include bike donations and a complimentary bike valet service to promote sustainable transportation.
Beyond match‑day activities, CFC Youth will run summer camps for children aged U8 to U18, providing coaching and skill development throughout the season. The club will also host official watch parties for the USA and Spain national teams as part of the FIFA World Cup 2026, extending its soccer enthusiasm to global audiences.
Looking Ahead
With a calendar packed from June through July, the Summer of Soccer initiative blends competitive play with community engagement, aiming to strengthen local ties while delivering memorable experiences for fans of all ages.
