Wall Township’s football program, known as the Crimson Knights, is entering the 2026 season with momentum built from a dominant 2025 campaign that saw them win nine of ten games and reach the Central Jersey Group 2 championship game.
Fourteen starters return, giving the coaching staff a deep pool of experience on both sides of the ball. Among them, senior quarterback Franny Scaramellino, who previously anchored the defense, is expected to lead a revamped offense after a standout 2024 season in which he threw for 1,246 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Looking Ahead
The offensive line, featuring four returning starters, is projected to be the team’s biggest strength, opening lanes for a backfield that will be shared by Mike Boulard and Max Katsouris. Meanwhile, the defense returns eight starters from a unit that limited opponents to just 14.5 points per game last year.
The schedule will test the Knights early, with Class A North rivals Red Bank Catholic, Rumson‑Fair Haven and Holmdel all on the slate. Those matchups promise tough battles, but the coaching staff believes the experience gained from last season’s championship run will help the team rise to the occasion.
Coach John Partusch and his staff are confident that the blend of veteran talent and fresh leadership can translate into the program’s first sectional title since 2019. As the team prepares for its opening game, the community watches eagerly, hopeful that the Crimson Knights will turn promising potential into a championship reality.
