Daniel Jacobsen anchored the Boilermakers in the paint, delivering 14 points, five rebounds and three blocks while shooting 7‑of‑10 from the field and protecting the rim on three occasions.
Scoring guard Antione West Jr. added 13 points and contributed three steals, underscoring his readiness to assume a larger offensive role and his 3‑of‑7 accuracy from beyond the arc.
A standout defensive effort
The team forced 13 turnovers, converting them into a 27‑12 advantage in points off turnovers, a testament to the length and activity of Purdue’s defense.
Caden Pierce also provided a highlight, salvaging an errant pass and finishing with a smooth layup that exemplified the team’s hustle.
Room for improvement
