A New Chapter for CSI Women's Basketball
Brendan Wheeler has officially taken over as the head coach of the College of Southern Idaho women's basketball program, succeeding longtime leader Randy Roger.
Roger departs after a 24‑year tenure that produced a 589‑186 record and cemented the program as a perennial contender in the region.
Wheeler arrived with a clear vision: to preserve the winning tradition while pushing the team toward its ultimate goal of a national championship.

Athletic Director Daequon Montreal praised Wheeler’s appointment, emphasizing that the administration’s ambition is to see the CSI women’s program hoist a title on the national stage.
