A season of distinction
The Bentley Falcons have once again been recognized for excellence off the court, capturing the National Association of Basketball Coaches’ Team Academic Excellence Award for the twelfth time in the past thirteen seasons.
The honor reflects the program’s sustained commitment to scholarly achievement, with four senior standouts — Joe Carroll, Ivan Misic, Cash McClure and Cooper Farrall — earning spots on the NABC Honors Court for the 2025‑26 academic year, each maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20.
Among them, Misic and McClure have become fixtures on the list, with Misic securing his fourth consecutive year of recognition and McClure adding a fresh NABC distinction after being named an Academic All‑America selection by College Sports Communicators in the same cycle.
Both McClure and Farrall also collected All‑Northeast 10 First Team accolades and multiple All‑Region honors, while McClure capped his collegiate career with 1,408 points, placing him 24th on Bentley’s all‑time scoring list, and Farrall sits just ten points shy of the 1,000‑point milestone heading into his senior season.
The collective achievements underscore a culture where athletic performance and academic rigor are pursued in tandem, a narrative that aligns with the university’s broader mission and the expectations of its partners, including the National Association of Basketball Coaches and College Sports Communicators.
