Aley Fetterman, a senior standout on the Bay High School girls soccer team, has officially committed to continue her career at Kent State University.
The announcement comes as the 2025 season approaches its climax, with Fetterman poised to add another chapter to a high school career that already includes two consecutive state championships.
Aiming for a Third Title
During her junior year she recorded 19 goals and eight assists, numbers that helped the Rockets clinch back‑to‑back titles and keep them in contention for a third straight crown.
Fetterman says she is eager to focus on her final high school season, using the experience gained on the field to sharpen her game before stepping onto the Kent State campus.
She will join a program overseen by Rob Marinaro, a coach whose reputation for developing talent has made Kent State a destination for ambitious student‑athletes.
Marinaro’s track record of success, combined with the university’s strong academic reputation, made the decision an easy one for the Bay High senior.
Fetterman’s commitment signals not only a personal milestone but also a boost to the Flashes’ recruiting class, as the coaching staff hopes her leadership will translate into immediate impact on the field.
Fans and teammates alike are already looking forward to seeing how the senior’s experience and drive will shape the team’s dynamics as they chase another state title.
