The University of Nevada, Las Vegas men's basketball team has been honored with the National Association of Basketball Coaches Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2025‑26 season, recognizing a collective grade point average of 3.26 across its 15‑player roster.

The NABC awards this distinction to any program that posts a team GPA of at least 3.0, a benchmark that the Rebels exceeded by a comfortable margin.
Among the recipients of the NABC Honors Court award, five Rebels earned the special mention: Myles Che, Jalen Cunninghman, Ladji Dembele, Al Green and Kimani Hamilton.
To qualify for the Honors Court, student‑athletes must be juniors, seniors or graduate students and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, underscoring the program’s emphasis on both athletics and scholarship.
