The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has once again placed Lehigh University’s men’s basketball team at the forefront of collegiate achievement, awarding it the Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2025‑26 academic year.
With a collective 3.44 grade point average, the program has now secured the honor for seven consecutive seasons, underscoring a culture that values scholarship as much as competition.
Six Players Earn NABC Honors Court Recognition
Jake Pike led the group with a flawless 4.0 GPA, while Bube Momah, Tommy Conniff, Brendan Reed, Joshua Ingram and Nasir Whitlock posted GPAs ranging from 3.24 to 3.73, earning them spots on the NABC Honors Court for junior, senior or graduate students who maintain a 3.2 cumulative average.
Beyond the classroom, the team captured its fourth Patriot League title under head coach Brett Reed, a milestone that reflects both strategic growth and sustained excellence on the court.
Lehigh’s athletic director praised the program’s dual focus, noting that the accolades illustrate how rigorous academics and competitive success can coexist when supported by dedicated coaching and student commitment.
