Lindenwood Basketball Team Honored for Academic Excellence

Four Lions Earn NABC Honors Court Recognition Amid Broad Celebration of Student‑Athlete Achievement

The National Association of Basketball Coaches recently unveiled its 2025‑26 Team Academic Excellence Awards alongside the NABC Honors Court, an initiative that shines a spotlight on programs and student‑athletes who excel both in the classroom and on the hardwood.

Academic Excellence on the Court

Lindenwood’s men’s basketball squad earned a place among the award‑winning programs, a testament to the team’s collective scholarly performance. The university also celebrated four of its players who were selected to the Honors Court for the 2025‑26 season.

Selection to the Honors Court requires a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2, while the Team Academic Excellence Award is reserved for squads that maintain a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. This season, more than 2,300 athletes from roughly 400 institutions were recognized.

The four Lindenwood honorees each bring a distinct academic focus to the roster. Jeremiah Talton studies Business/Supply Chain Management, Kevin Anthony pursues International Business, Milos Nenadic is majoring in Mechanical Engineering, and Todd Bieg opts for Sports Management.
