Academic Excellence on the Court
The National Association of Basketball Coaches has announced its 2025‑26 Team Academic Excellence Awards and Honors Court, recognizing a record number of student‑athletes who have distinguished themselves in the classroom as well as on the hardwood.
Among the honorees, senior forward Jackson Delaney of the Manhattan Jaspers led his squad with a cumulative GPA of 3.28, earning a spot on the prestigious Honors Court.
Delaney is joined by teammates Devin Dinkins, Aryan Arora and Terrance Jones, each of whom posted a GPA of 3.2 or higher, underscoring the program’s commitment to academic rigor.
NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson emphasized that scholarly achievement is a cornerstone of the collegiate basketball experience, noting that the organization celebrates more than 2,300 players and 400 institutions for their academic standards.
The Honors Court specifically targets junior, senior and graduate men’s basketball participants who maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above, a benchmark that reflects both athletic dedication and intellectual discipline.
