Kansas City Men's Soccer has revealed its 2026 signing class, a cohort that blends fresh collegiate talent with seasoned international prospects.
Head Coach Ryan Pore said the new arrivals are expected to make an immediate impact, noting that the group’s depth could reshape the team’s competitive edge from day one.
A Global Talent Pool
The class features seven true freshmen and eight first‑year collegiate players, many of whom arrived from abroad. Elouan Labadie‑Vincent from France earned the 2023 French High School Excellence Champion honor, while Alessandro Patelli of Italy recently starred for UC AlbinoLeffe U19. Jonas Rossdorfer, an Austrian midfielder, last played for ASKÖ Oedt, and Juan Pablo Salgado Canepa from Argentina captured a league championship in 2022.
From the United States, Makhi Francis of Evanston, Illinois, joins after a stint with the Sporting KC Academy, and Brice Miller from Frisco, Texas, arrives as the sole Division I transfer. Carter Santa, a defender from Shawnee Mission East, was named Kansas KSHSAA 6A Defender of the Year, and Brendan Mikuliza of Orlando, Florida, will guard the net as the team’s lone goalkeeper.
Local talent also includes Pablo Morato, who hails from Toulouse, France, and has experience with US Colomiers U19, adding another international dimension to the squad.
Coach Pore emphasized that the blend of domestic and overseas experience creates a unique chemistry, positioning the roster to compete right away and contribute to the program’s long‑term success.
