Oregon State’s baseball squad wrapped up its regular season with a commanding 43-12 record, cementing its place in the NCAA Tournament and setting the stage for a potential deep run.
The Beavers demonstrated their depth by taking two of three games against the Air Force Falcons in Corvallis, a performance that underscored their consistency on the home field.
Chasing a Regional Hosting Spot
Currently positioned No. 17 in the Rating Percentage Index, the team must now prove it belongs among the top 16 seeds to secure the right to host a Regional, a milestone that would mark a significant achievement for the program.
The NCAA selection committee will release its full 64-team bracket on May 25, ranking the top 32 squads and determining which schools earn the chance to run their own Regionals. Oregon State is aiming for its 14th Regional appearance and a return to the College World Series in Omaha.
This season also marks the Beavers’ second and final year as an independent before they rejoin the Pac-12 next year, a transition that adds a layer of narrative to their postseason ambitions.
