The Eagles schedule a slate that includes a first‑ever showdown with Virginia and a rugged in‑state lineup, aiming to cement their ASUN ambitions.

Florida Gulf Coast University’s men’s soccer program revealed its 2026 schedule on Wednesday, promising a demanding lineup that stretches across five conferences beyond the ASUN.

A Non‑Conference Gauntlet

The slate features a first‑ever encounter with Virginia, alongside marquee home games against Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University, while also traveling to face opponents from the ACC, American, CAA, OVC and Sun Belt.

Head coach Oliver Twelvetrees said the schedule is designed to test the team at the highest level and to foster resilience as the Eagles transition to a refreshed roster.

Conference Play and Early Kickoff

Eight ASUN contests mark the most conference games the program has scheduled in a single season since 2013, beginning with a road test at Georgia Southern on August 20 before the historic Virginia clash on August 31.

The regular season will see the Eagles return to Pickering Field for matches against North Florida, Bellarmine, FAU and Lipscomb, while a Texas road trip will take them to Houston Christian and Incarnate Word.

Season tickets and mini‑plans for the 2026 campaign are now on sale, giving fans early access to a schedule that culminates with the ASUN Men’s Soccer Championship from November 7‑14, a tournament the team hopes to win for the first time since 2016.
