Bluefield State University announced that it has been accepted as an affiliate member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association, a move that will take effect at the start of the 2026‑27 academic year. The partnership grants the Big Blue access to postseason tournaments and the ability to nominate student‑athletes for all‑sports recognitions.
