All-Conference USA Honors Highlight Bear Success
The Missouri State Bears celebrated a trio of selections to the All-Conference USA baseball squads, with Logan Fyffe, Curry Sutherland and Ross Felder each earning recognition that underscores the program’s rising profile.
Fyffe and Sutherland earned First-Team honors, while Felder was highlighted on the league’s all-Freshman team, a distinction that reflects both immediate impact and future promise.
Logan Fyffe’s Offensive Mastery
Fyffe’s bat has been a cornerstone of the Bears’ lineup, posting a .364 average that places him second in the conference and a .609 slugging percentage that ranks fourth, numbers that have helped him amass 21 doubles, eight home runs and 42 RBIs this season.
Beyond the raw stats, Fyffe’s consistency shines through 20 multi-hit games and two separate 11-game hitting streaks, underlining his reliability at the plate.
Curry Sutherland’s Two-Way Impact
Sutherland leads the league with a .629 slugging percentage and is batting .317 while delivering 15 home runs and 51 RBIs, a production that has also featured six game-winning RBIs and a perfect 50-game starting streak.
His two-way prowess earned him a spot among 15 semifinalists for the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award, a testament to his pitching and hitting contributions.
Ross Felder’s Pitching Consistency
On the mound, Felder has logged 51.2 innings across 20 appearances, posting a 3-2 record with 50 strikeouts against just eight walks, a performance that places him second in the conference for strikeout-to-walk ratio and walks per nine innings.
