University of New Hampshire Athletics announced a comprehensive 10‑year partnership with Northeast Delta Dental, a leading regional dental health provider. The collaboration centers on the naming and transformation of the Delta Dental Lobby within the Whittemore Center, a space that will soon serve as a vibrant hub for both athletic pride and community wellness.
Revitalizing a Campus Landmark
Renovations are slated to begin ahead of the 2026‑27 season and will include three interactive digital touchscreens that showcase UNH hockey legends and program history. A dedicated jersey display will highlight sweaters from past and present Wildcats, while upgraded branding will give the lobby a fresh, modern identity that reflects the shared values of the two partners.
A Race That Begins and Ends at the Lobby
The agreement also establishes the annual UNH Athletics Homecoming 5K, a community road race that will start and finish at the Delta Dental Lobby. The event is designed to bring together students, alumni, fans and local residents, celebrating Homecoming Weekend while promoting health and active lifestyles across the Granite State.
