Major League Soccer has officially relocated its headquarters to the heart of Manhattan, occupying a two‑floor, 126,000‑square‑foot suite within Vornado Realty Trust’s 2 Penn Plaza.
Designed by TPG Architecture, the space takes its cue from the rhythm of soccer, dividing the floor plan into themed “neighborhoods” that encourage collaboration and wellness among staff.
Design Inspired by the Game
The reception area greets visitors with a wall of player jerseys, the gleaming MLS Cup, and a suite of digital screens that broadcast live matches and display real‑time scores.
A central hub functions as the league’s command center, where executives can monitor ongoing games on a wall of digital scoreboards while staff move through bright, energetic zones and quieter work alcoves.
Fan‑created artwork adorns the corridors, adding a personal touch that underscores the community‑driven ethos of the league, and the layout includes roughly 80 meeting and collaboration rooms to support teamwork.
