This Saturday, the Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic will light up Don Rioux Field in Lewiston, bringing together the state’s most promising high school football seniors for a final showdown.
The contest showcases the elite group of graduated players who have earned their spots through standout seasons across the Pine Tree State.
A Tradition of Giving
Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m., and every tackle, run and pass will count toward a charitable cause that matters to the community.
All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will be directed to the Maine Shriners Children’s Hospital, continuing a tradition of giving back that has defined the event for decades.
For many of the athletes, this bowl game represents the last competitive football experience before they move on to college or other pursuits, adding an extra layer of emotion to the evening.
