East High’s Terrel Karim Jr. Commits to Bowling Green State Football

The senior standout will join the Falcons after a record‑breaking season

Terrel Karim Jr., a senior at East High School in Ohio, has signed his letter of intent to join the Bowling Green State University football program, marking a pivotal moment in his athletic career.

During his high school tenure he distinguished himself as a multi‑position player, lining up at linebacker, defensive end, tight end and wide receiver, and earned Division III honorable‑mention All‑Ohio honors for his versatility and impact.

His contributions helped the East High team finish the 2025 season with a 10‑3 record and capture the City Series championship, while also advancing to the playoffs and winning two games.

Karim recorded 31 tackles last season, 16 of which came behind the line of scrimmage, underscoring his influence on both sides of the ball.

A New Chapter

Choosing Bowling Green over Kent State and four other Division I programs reflects both the Falcons’ coaching staff and the university’s academic reputation. Coaches expect his adaptability to add depth to the defensive line and offensive formations, positioning him as a key piece in the team’s future plans.
