A New Era for USF Basketball
The University of San Francisco announced the addition of forward Dashel Wiley, a Nevada native who has signed to join the Dons program.
Wiley arrives after a standout senior season at Faith Lutheran High School, where he posted averages of 22.7 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game while shooting efficiently from the field.
His performance earned him a First Team 4A Desert League selection and a Second Team Nevada Preps All‑Southern Nevada honor, underscoring his status as one of the state’s most coveted prospects.
Beyond basketball, Wiley also competed for the Crusaders football team, demonstrating the same drive and versatility that coaches value at the collegiate level.
Chris Gerlufsen, the head coach of the Dons, highlighted Wiley’s character and work ethic, noting that the forward’s high school achievements reflect a readiness to contribute immediately.
