UNF Announces 2026 Athletic Schedules
The University of North Florida has released its full 2026 competition calendars for the men’s soccer, women’s soccer and indoor volleyball programs, outlining a slate that blends non‑conference challenges with ASUN Conference play.
Men’s soccer head coach Marlon Montanella said the schedule is designed to sharpen the team for the ASUN Conference and the NCAA Tournament, while women’s soccer coach Eric Faulconer highlighted the squad’s momentum after reaching last season’s championship final.
The men’s side will open with exhibition matches against Eastern Florida State College and the University of Central Florida before a regular season that includes contests versus South Carolina, Mercer, Florida Atlantic, USF, Jacksonville, Coastal Carolina, Florida Gulf Coast, Clemson, West Florida, Trinity College, Stetson, Central Arkansas, FIU, Bellarmine, College of Charleston, Queens, Saint Louis and Lipscomb.
The 2026 ASUN Men’s Soccer Championship is slated for November 7 through November 14, with matches hosted at the campuses of the top‑seeded teams.
On the women’s side, the Osprey schedule features exhibition games against FAU and a long list of regular‑season opponents that span Georgia Southern, Saint Leo, FIU, College of Charleston, Kennesaw State, Bellarmine, Lipscomb, West Florida, Queens, Florida Gulf Coast, Stetson, Jacksonville and JU.
The ASUN Women’s Soccer Championship will run from November 5 to November 13, also at the venues of the highest‑seeded institutions.
The indoor volleyball team will play a 24‑match season that includes 12 non‑conference fixtures and 14 ASUN contests, with head coach Abby Gilleland making her regular‑season debut on August 28, 2026.
Exhibition matches are set against Florida A&M and Flagler, and the squad will compete in the Classic City Clash, the UNF Invitational and Appalachian State’s Mountaineer Classic before facing a roster of opponents that includes Georgia, Furman, George Washington, Duke, Tulane, Western Carolina, Appalachian State, William & Mary, Fordham, Kennesaw State, Georgia Southern, JU, Lipscomb, Bellarmine, Queens, West Florida, Stetson and Florida Gulf Coast.
The 2026 ASUN Indoor Volleyball Championship is scheduled for November 19 through November 22 at Alico Arena in Fort Myers, Florida, providing a home‑court finale for the conference tournament.
